On November 5, at the invitation of President Song Houhui, Professor Henry Etzkowitz of Stanford University and founder of the Triple Helix Society, and Dr Zhou Chunyan, Director of the International Triple Helix Institute, visited our school.
Both sides made in-depth exchanges and discussions on the development of innovation and entrepreneurship in universities. Song Houhui introduced the development history of the College of Animal Science and Technology, College of Veterinary Medicine and its initiatives in talent cultivation, industry-education integration, social service, and achievement transformation, etc. He stressed that the College insists on comprehensively deepening innovation and entrepreneurship education reform, strengthening students' innovation and entrepreneurship practice, constructing an excellent animal husbandry and veterinary talent cultivation system with "three rings, four links and five drives", and striving to improve the "college running a university" and to improve the "college running a university". "Henry Etzkowitz and Zhou Chunyan introduced the initiatives and results of innovation and entrepreneurship education of Stanford University and made suggestions on the development of innovation and entrepreneurship in the College of Animal Science and Technology, College of Veterinary Medicine.
