Zhejiang A&F University (ZAFU)hostedthe launch symposium forForest Food, a brand‑new international English‑languageacademicjournal, in Wenzhou. Co‑sponsored by the International Association of Dietetic Nutrition and Safety (IADNS), the journal will be globally published in partnership with Wiley,a world‑leading publisher of science, technology and medicine.

Professor Wu Jiasheng, President of Zhejiang A&F University, serves as thejournal’sChief Editor. He will work together withinternational co‑editors‑in‑chief and an editorial boardcomprisingmore than 40 distinguished scholars fromChina and overseas.

Forest Foodfocuses on the full‑chain research of forest‑derived food resources. Its scope covers germplasm innovation, breeding, post‑harvest processing and preservation, functional nutrition, bioactive substance exploitation, high‑value by‑productutilization, industrial development,and relevant economic‑policy studies. Scheduled for its official online release and inaugural issue in December 2026, the journalaspires to develop into a high‑visibility international platform for academic exchanges on forest‑food research withinthe next three to five years.

To encourage global submissions, no Article Processing Charges (APCs) will be applied to all manuscripts submitted by 30 December 2028. Young researchers arewelcome to apply for membership in the journal’seditorial board and youth working group.
